I think it's a female and from the second shot, I guess she's in love with you. But wait... what if it's a male?

Excellent shots, the detail is very good, but if I may ask, do you think they would have been better with the a900 or would you say that there would have been very little, if anything in it. I read a great deal of the discussions about the a700 and the a900 on this site [some of it I actually understand] and sometimes wonder if the extra expense is required to get good shots. I also have the sigma 70-300 and use it to great effect with my a350 but after seeing your results perhaps I should consider an a700 asap. Your comments on this site are extremly informative, keep it up.

More great squirrel shots Don! I also like this lens a lot, even if I don't have your iron grip for those super steady shots Is that your reflection we can just make out in the squirrel's eye in the 3rd shot?

I think one of the big advantages of the a700 over the a350 is been able to chose iso points in between
iso 800 and iso 1600, some times the extra 1/3, 2/3 faster shutter speeds is all thats needed to go from good to extra sharp.

with my a350 and Tam 70-300, I've started using a monopod on cloudy days, seems to really help a lot.
