Try to find which lens is ... :-)

I have just received an old an rare lens from Minolta.

MD version from the 80s I think.

I removed only the back of the lens and hold it manually in front of a M42 confirm focus adapter (not perfectly in line with the camera and some light was able to enter from the back).

This is not bad for a first 15 minutes of shooting.


I think the lens will be really easy to convert correctly (it is like the 50mm F/1.2 back lens, but not easy like the 58mm F/1.2).

All picture was took at full aperture for now (hint, it is smaller than F/2.8). Minimum focus , middle distance and some at the attempt to reach the infinity.

(take a look at the DSC07665, it is impressive at full aperture how the lens can give detail from the side of the image).
