along time iàm Searching for the MINOLTA 100MM F2
this is a very special lens and very rare

two days back i saw this lens on internet
they place this lens on the wrong category with no picture from it
so i think a lot of seekers dont see it

the lens is in New State and he used it a few times , it was on his attic in a carton bow , together with the
MINOLTA 7000

so i buy it for 285 GBP :D :D

here some picture`s of my new lens

Wish I had seen that! I could have had one of these, and an 85mm f1.4 and 35mm f1.4, but decided not to buy too many lenses when they were going for almost nothing... I just picked two or three I wanted (from the KM and Morgan Computing sales). So I have a 100mm SF but not an f/2.

Congratulations Gustav.
Must be hard to find one in good condition. The interest in this lens was so impressive that now I'd like one for myself as well! :) Will be on lens watch.

Enjoy!

Several months back, a local craigs-list site had a set of several Minolta lenses including this one for about $500 - sadly I had neither inside knowledge nor sufficient cash for the lot  , so someone in the Portland area picked up an amazing stash of early Minolta glass!

Many years ago, just after I started DSLR with my KM 5D I could have got one on eBay for 250 Euro, I stopped at 220 or so. At that time I was not yet aware about it's qualities and 220 seemed a lot for me!
