K-M Lenses

Was in the local Wally-mart the other day to grab another CF card, and took a look at the video cameras. One of the JVC models was sporting a Konica-Minolta lens, much to my surprise. I guess they didn't sell everything to Sony.

I think the lenses are the one thing they wanted minolta for in the first place. and I think it's been said that actual raw glass production was kept as well. Konica still sells a lot of finished lens assemblies for cameras and other things like photocopiers. At a show once i saw a machine vision camera from olympus with a konica lens on it.
