A very delayed congratulation to ruthless over his purchase of this new lens. I notice from the Sigma site that this lens is without OS in the Sony and Pentax versions. Would ruthless or any other owner of this lens please confirm that there is no OS action and that the lens functions fully as a normal (no inbuilt antishake) lens. I notice that the Sigma (for Sony) 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM does not have OS either but I seem to recall that David Kilpatrick wrote about this lens and it had OS built in. Perhaps he was just using a Nikon or Canon. Can anyone remember or clarify? My position is that at some stage I will want this lens or the Tamron equivalen but preferably without lens OS.Got the Sigma 150-500 HSM DG, Still trying to tweak the settings for wildlife shots.
