I recently picked up a MF Gemini 28/f2.8 and found that my glass adapter does not work because of the protruding back element of the lens. Is this restriction expected with any wide angle lenses or unique to this
particular lens? Any insight is much appreciated. The lens worked ok as a macro with glass less adapter as shown below.

AFAIK that restriction is not for all wide angle lenses.
Anyway use it as a macro lens or for close subjects.

Beautiful shots nonetheless! Especially love the Fuchsia.
