Vignetting is noticeable but still usable. Nice details.

Well, it's not meant for the A900, but as I said you can just about get away with using it or crop the frame slightly!

What do you think of the focus motor? I think it shows what could be done by Sony for SAM if they used the right technology.

I am very impressed by the amount of vignetting or lack thereof for APS-C lens on a FF body.

David,
The focus on A900 seem to hunt a bit but when I use the center point, it locks just like that. On 700, I did not notice
any hunting. I am seeing some color shift on A900 when I close in versus when I don't. I will post the images later
to illustrate my point. All in all, thank you for pointing me to this lens. I am extremely pleased with it.

P.S: These images were taken in the evening fading light and cloudy conditions. I am hoping the clouds will clear and we have a typical California sunny day for further experimentation. :D
