ebay and lens compability

Like a lot of Alpha users I trawl ebay looking for old Minolta lenses. I see camera packages on sale but am not sure which of the old Minolta cameras will have lenses compatible with Alpha DSLRs. Has anyone ever complied a list of these and if so, would you mind sharing?

You're looking for "Maxxum" lenses, or "AF" lenses. Throw out anything with "Rokkor," "MC," "MD," or "Celtic." Some Maxxum lenses are manual focus only, like the 135 STF, but will still work with an Alpha body.
