Well, I really did it . A moment of madness? A moment of weakness? Or the very best lens decision I have made to date!
Had a fancy to enter the Cat Protection League photo competition (because? - well see the link to my Bengal cat blog from my website - if you are sad enough). However, taking a few "action shots" of them this weekend it was obvious that my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 just couldn't cut it even on my a700. That same evening I saw the digital camera exchange advert in this weeks AP magazine proudly showing off its ACE stand and advertising the 70200 SSM G for less than I have come across it before. A phone call later and it was mine, and a day later I was holding it
Any comments on using it to the full would be welcome, (but if you are going to tell me its about to be discontinued or its rubbish, please don't, or you'll spoil it because I am really so very chuffed
)
