Hood compatipbility Sony 50mm f1.4 v Minolta RS

Can anyone say if the hood ALC-SH0011 ,GENUINE SONY LENS HOOD for 50mm f1.4, wll fit the Minolta RS 50mm equivalent (the one with 55mm filter thread)?

The Sony 50/1.4 is 55mm filter also and fleabay reckons it’s for Sony-Monilta whoever Monilta is.

Sorry I didn't replay before. That was a very helpful link and I now have a replacement, much cheaper than the UK source.
