Looking for suggestions/recommendations for WA lens

I want to explore the WA photography (still trying to define what that means to me).
Can you suggest/recommend some WA lenses please? Apart from architecture and landscape,
where else one could/would use WA lenses? For my request, I am looking for smaller than 24mm
focal length and not fish eye lenses. Widest I have is a CZ24/f2.

P.S.Much to my dismay I discovered that I have not bought a lens in almost 18 months,
and that needs to be addressed.

Probably best solution is SAL1635Z , but it's a expensive lens.

My A77 is crop sensor, so my WA focal lengths should be multiplied by 1.5 for your full frame.

I used to use a Sigma 10-20mm, mostly for architecture, building sites, and landscapes. I noticed that a high proportion of my shots were at 10mm. That was because I often wanted the lens to go a bit wider, but 10mm was as far as I could go. When I upgraded to the Sigma 8-16mm I found I still used 8mm more often than narrower focal lengths, but not nearly so much. For architecture and building sites 90 degrees was a very critical angle of view. If the lens can see a 90 degree angle of view across the width of a landscape orientation shot, then you can stand at the corner of a rectangular building site and shoot the entire site in one image. If you can go a bit wider than 90 degrees (as 8mm on crop sensor or 12mm on FF can) then you can stand inside a room or quadrangle, step slightly inwards from the corner, and shoot an image which shows all four walls.

What else can you shoot with a very wide angle lens? Here's a flower portrait at 8mm.
