Dimage 7Hi service manual

When Minolta/Sony repaired the faulty sensor on my Dimage 7Hi it came back with what looks like dust on the sensor. I didn't notice immediately, and should have sent it straight back as soon as I did, however I didn't bother and I am now thinking that this otherwise perfectly good bit of kit might suit my son as a stop gap.

It is probably not cost effective to send it to anyone to repair, so was wondering if this is something that can be done at home. Has anyone here tried to remove the lens of a 7, 7h or 7Hi or got a service manual that might show the process?
