Where can a Minolta AF 80-200 2.8 HS be fixed?

Hello. I have a problem, and I haven't been able, so far, to find what to do. Let me tell you:
I recently bought a Minolta AF 80-200 2.8, a black one. It is excellent, very very sharp even at 2.8 (on my Alpha 850). The only problem is when it hangs vertically, if I turn the zoom, it makes a strange noise, probably I imagine because it is quite old.
Now I have bought another Minolta AF 80-200 2.8, but a white one APO High Speed, almost immaculate. It works perfectly, except that it isn't as sharp as the other one, even when I try to micro-adjust for that lens at the maximum. It gets as sharp as the other one only at f/8.
My question is: can the white one be checked and possibly fixed somewhere in Britain? I live in France, but at the moment I am in Britain until the end of June.
Looking forward to your suggestions,
Jean-Marie Wallet
