Regardless of the merits of this new version. (I'd agree with DK that the highlight colour correction option in IDC works pretty well). There are still no direct tools for CA removal. As CA can be various colours for example not just purple but cyans and reds too. IDC isn't much use in this area.
I also can't turn down luminance NR far enough and even with sharpening to 0 there is some kind of edge sharpness enhancement going on in IDC.
Not sure why the DRO options don't reflect in camera settings either.
IDC still isnt' really that great and that's the problem. Most likely you'll get better results with free raw converters out there on the market.
