A900 and Confirm Focus M42 Adaptor

I have just tried the A900 with my Old Tamron F2.8 LD IF adaptall combine with a Adaptall to M42 adapter Confirm focus, and the System is not working as the A700.
On the A700, the camera switch automatically to MF and you can just check for the small dot blinking in the Viewfinder to know if you are in focus or not, and you can press the shutter any time.
On the A900 different behavior ... the Camera stay on Automatic focus, and when i half press the shutter is trying to focus by moving the motor (axing nothing
). But what i like , is that if i'm half pressing the shutter i will have the Small "Bip" confirm focus, and better, if i press full the shutter it will automaticly take the picture when i am on focus.
This is very nice ! , PRobably this is how it is working on A200, 300 and 350 ... but i don't have does camera on my hand.
But for this ... my Tamron is not an reel half autofocus lens
.
Regards,
Frank
