I was on the road to go to my brother and law Surprise party on Saturday, and there was this beautiful sun starting to goes down. I was not the driver (i have already tried it ... but it is a little bit dangerous ... ), and i have decided to open the windows and push my A900 outside for some shots.

The result at about 60 km/h :




I have been impressed by the range of playing i was able to adjust returning at home on Ligthroom.

I was surprised to see that even at 1/1600 ... it looks like that the SSS is doing something ... because on second or third shot in high drive mode ... some picture was blur with the same exposure setting and focus point. I don't know if anybody have experienced this before ?

I think the biggest selling point of this camera (besides the almost ridiculous resolution) is the DR. I've been just amazed what can be recovered when overexposing by .7EV. This shot isn't groundbreaking, but I think it proves the point.

unfortunately those pictures has been taken at more than 1/1000 not under 1/15

By the way, this is i think one of the picture that impressed me more on my second day of working with A900. Handle picture .5 sec focusing over the head (where is difficult to be stable).

I think Up to ISO 400, we can get from the A900 (or even the A700) impressive result that some time give us chance to do not do bracketing. That is a very good new .

cool ! , i have not work enough for now on this kind of effect for picture.

But now you have signed a contract with me, i know that i just have to take picture and send you the raw file and you will do the rest

For some reason I am not able to see Sonalta's work on lattiboy's image and Frank's image too. I am able to see other images in the thread.
Am I missing something here?

Still no luck. I thought your site might be blocked by my K9. So I tested each of the three sites in your posting and none of them are blocked. I refreshed the thread but still no luck.
Frank, I am able to go to Pbase without any problems. Also, your images in the thread can be seen. I am having problem with the two that Sonalta posted. I will check some other
threads and see if I have the same problem. If so, then it may have to do with my K9 setting.

The trouble is at my end. When I clicked on the link you sent, I get an error that it is a blocked gif.
Another dumb thing I did was not to realize that the thread has gone to the next page. I kept refreshing
the first page. Duh!hiccup!

Inspired by Sonalta's retouch, I downloaded your image and developed two different variants on the shot. If you are ok with it,
I can post them here. I don't mean to hijact Frank's thread but .... My attempt is to recover the details in the shadows rather than
render an artistic perspective.
