I took the plunge

Well, I finally did it. After months of reading and thinking and thinking and reading I got the A900 with the CZ 24-70 (my A700 with the same lens had long gone over into the hands of my daughter :D ). I am a sucker for Zeiss lenses but I must say the A900 itself too is a beautiful instrument. I'll d some testing as soon as the weather permits.

Hi, I would really be interested to see how you fare with the a900, cos I'm also thinking of getting one and have been reading all the forums with this in mind. Sounds to me this is a very good camera, do I really need the D3x, nah? :D

Got a 2nd hand a700, a Sigma 50/1.4, and a Minolta 50/3.5 Macro. :D :D :D

Amazingly I've done the same thing. A700 w 16/80CZ to daughter; A900 w 24/70CZ to me. The siren song of the FF drew me in at last :wink: . I guess I'm still a 35mm shooter at heart. *sigh*

, I proudly gave A700+1680 to my brother in law and is after either a second A700 with 1680 kit or A900. I really love to have some new lenses including CZ 2470, 135/1.8, and Sony G 70200, 70400 :) :) :)
