A700 FW V5 coming

Here is the thread from Flickr

According to Margaro

"-KM legacy lenses reconigzed as Minolta Af I.D. , can also be Micro adjusted per lens-

- (i dindt see it in person, but they said that have been tested succesfully a 35-70 F4 and KM 75-300 4, 5,6 an corrected AF.
-Memory up to 5 lenses support.
-Fixed metering algorithm.
-Fixes random date-time resetting issue
-Fixed jpg output algorithm (it seems it only work only in "extrafine" setting)
-Solved random metering issues with CZl 24-70
-(unkown) Better power management with SSM lenses (not listed, but it appears to reduce batery dain than with V4."

Maybe Sony listened and now A700 will expose to the right like D300. And I'll get more juice from battery while using my 70200G.

BTW what is the 24-70Z metering issue? and how is it curable with cam FW?

I am waiting ...

Thanks
