DRO and shooting RAW on a A900

Should I set and leave the DRO to D-R (Standard) on my A900 I only shoot raw, no jpegs.

It does not affect raw at all, except maybe at the worst to give you slight underexposure, therefore you should turn it off.

It doesn´t affect the RAW, but the image you see in he LCD is a JPEG and it does.
The RAW that you get is not the same image that you see in the LCD.

And it will also try to affect Image Data Converter, but not any other raw converter. IDC's version is not exactly the same as the effect on the JPEG preview embedded in the raw file. So, again, best not to use it. It will prevent you from judging the raw histogram even vaguely correctly. It is only really of full use if you go for in-camera JPEGs.

In fact, Sony should modify the firmware that when we select cRAW, or RAW only, the DRO option should be automatically disable. Even the Noise reduction setting.
When I forget those setting, this make my angry when I import the picture in lightroom and it is only when you click on the picture that the effect change, because lightroom as many other viewer software uses the embedded picture in the RAW to make the preview.
