Hello, I'm a new member to the forum. Here's a little background on me: I started with a Canon G3, then a Canon digital elph, then a Canon Powershot Pro1, and then my first dslr was the KM 5D, then the Sony A700, and now the A900. I finally saved up enough and got the Zeiss 24-70. I would like to just say that it's great to be here, and thank you David, for having me. I'm an avid landscape and wildlife amatuer photographer, and a lover of national parks, especially Death Valley, Sequoia, Canyonlands...

I have learned a lot about photography over the years, just by being on forums, and dslr review sites. I look at this as a great way to learn even more. David, I think you're a great resource for all things photography, and I look forward to being on your forum.

My one claim to fame, is that webshots posted my Yosemie gallery on their frontpage one time! I got so many nice comments from people who saw my photos - it was really nice.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing your albums with us - you have captured some really majestic views beautifully. I particularly likes the Death Valley series - great shots showing the snow in the desert . I look forward to more fo your lovely landscapes.
