A33 vs NEX-5 as a carry-everywhere camera

I posted this to <another forum> and thought it might be interesting to someone here ...
I'll have to break it up a little for the 3-images per post rule.
I (had) a NEX-5 w/kit zoom and an A33 in my hands for comparison. I've been looking for a camera that, compared to the A700 is more compact, quieter, with LV, and compared to my digicams ... just better emoticon - smile
I watched m43 for a while, liked the GF1 and the 20, but was never convinced by the IQ from any cameras but the GH1 (mostly dynamic range, even more than noise) ... that's based on tests, not actual use. And the lack of a tilting LCD on all but the Panasonic DSLR-like models was a negative. I figured I'd wait for Photokina to make a decision. So I'm comparing these two cameras. I'll post photos showing the cameras themselves and a few comments (nothing like an exhaustive comparison and no IQ comparisons as I have no reason to believe I'd be perfectly happy with either) in replies to this post.
