A550

Unread post by donwae12 »

I have been using an a550 for several months and have been well pleased with the results. Recently, however, it has picked up a very annoying habit. It will for no reason I can tell start overexposing the pictures. Sometimes turning the camera off and back on again will 'reset' it. Sometimes not. Eventually it will come around on its own but it can be most irratating while it is acting up.
Has anyone else experienced this? What, if anything, can be done to avoid or remedy this?

Can be a lens fault, alignment of the aperture mechanism. Change lenses before blaming body.
