On Ebay UK there are still a number of A57's for =< £250. If you don't need FF, then the A57 is probably better ( and newer) than an A580.

I noticed that my local LCE has a 580 for sale. Not something you see very often.

I'm not short on cameras right now, but I might pick something up later on. There is no rush really for me
Depends on how much use some of the bodies have had that's the only problem (or non problem) I did buy a s/h Km5d but it was dirt cheap.

I'd be a bit cautious on some cameras some people pull up big shutter counts and I'm not usually one of them!
