Forum name change?

Unread post by Greg Beetham »

David,
you could possibly now change the title of the forum, now that the A900 is out and the model name is confirmed...but too what?
Sony Alpha A100-A700-A900, or maybe Sony Alpha A100.....A900.

How about "Alpha DSLR" ... that covers quite a swatch!

As the forum gets bigger and bigger, and in due time alpha dslrs become more, I think we should divide this section into subforums. But imho it's a bit early and we should get content with A100-900

A100-A999 would probably last a bit longer :-)

Hello!

*waves*

I think there are already so many forums here that I'm totally confused about where I should look for answers.

There are forums here with zero posts, there are some forums here which don't have posts since 2007. Surely there is a case for merging some of these? DSLR System, for example, seems to have lots of discussion about the A900 rather than the Alpha system. What actually is the difference?

While DPReview (*spit*) has one forum which feels too crowded for a simple browse, this one seems to have too much choice.

Just my 2p.

The quality of discussion appears to be considerably more constructive here either way and that's ultimately the important point.

How about:

Hardware
Software
Technique
Gallery

Sounds perfect to me ;)

Sorry, I'll stop rabble rousing now...
