
The boat which features in the ultrawide 17mm shot above (see Lens Forum - http://www.photoclubalpha.com/forum/vie ... f=27&t=925) is here photographed as a detail shot using the 28-75mm D. Once again, used at a moderate aperture as would normally be expected, the results are near-perfect. No CA correction has been applied to this raw conversion, at all. Apart from some strong fine detail sharpening to suit the texture of the old paintwork, it's a straight default conversion with highlight recovery at 50 and shadows at 0.

The more of these pix I process, the more I'm getting to like the Alpha 900 and feel happy that I kept the full-frame lenses.
