Sharing some shots from my alpha

Hi, this is my first post here. Just to share some shots..

1. A morning shot on my trip to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah.

Sony DSLR-A200, 1/2500 sec, f/5.0, 18 mm

2. Sunrise shot from Bukit Tabur (located nearby where I stay)

Sony DSLR-A850, 0.01 sec (1/100), f/16.0, 24 mm

3. A climb to a nearby hill to capture the morning view. The shot was taken one week after the first shot in No.2. It can be seen here that the weather that day is foggy.

The first shot is awesome.
Unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd shots are somehow "damaged" by the flare in the former and the black cloudy-thing in the latter.

I like the black cloudy thing. The small flare mark could be retouched, but I am not sure that is necessary; lenses create marks like this, we are used to them, and maybe they can be part of the shot.

Hi Kamarulamir, I especially like #3 - this mist over the hill (mountain?) in the background and the droplets falling from the branch in foreground. Your persistence in returning to the same spot paid off I think.

Dr. Harout: I think maybe because I didn't have any filter attached to the lens that causes the flare and the black cloudy-thing. Do you think so?

David: Thanks. I somehow find the black cloudy thing there when using my KM24-105. Is that common?

Birma: Thanks. It was a hill actually. Took around 15-20 minutes to reach the top. This was the second time in one week I go back there and the two different shots are captured. Might be going back again..

Sorry, I was joking - I thought the 'black cloudy thing' was referring to the out of focus mountain!

If you compare the 2 shots the "black cloudy thing" sure looks like the out of focus mountain of the previous pic! It has the same shape and secondary peak on the right side.
