Didn't want to post in "Your best shot" and probably more suitable here due to the diversity of the shots. Feel free to comment and criticize (praise too if worthy )
A Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)
One of the 100s of sunset shots from where we were staying. I was not alone shooting it, around 40-50 French tourists were standing there taking the shots with almost anything (didn't notice any alpha)
I'm still processing the shots, so will gradually add.
Lake Sevan

Another sunset shot
I just didn't want to clone out the wires (which I'll do once I get acquainted with Photoshop CS5)
A buzzard, probably Long-legged Buzzard (Buteo rufinus)

Re: Lake Sevan
I didn't know they had Formula-1 cars with super engines in a remote village, on the eastern shore of lake Sevan.
Re: Lake Sevan
This is a very nice series, I like most of them! You could have posted it in the best shot secion, no doubt!!
Re: Lake Sevan
Hi Doc - glad to see you are getting some R&R. I best getting to gripos with CS5 will give you plenty to do . Super series of pictures - I especially like the ones with a local flavour like the donkey cart and tractor. I agree that telegraph wires etc. are a reall pain! Have you got the new lens yet?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Armen returned today (yesterday night, in fact) and brought along my ... 2 new lenses
The 30/2.8 DT Macro along with ... taraa... the Samyang 85mm f/1.4 under the brand name Rokinon. I just took with the latter a few shots (quick glance) and I like it. Like back in the old days; manual focusing, manual aperture. I'll open a new thread with details about and with the lens. After all I really wish such good lenses be owned by our active forum members.
Re: Lake Sevan
Hi Doc - congratulations on the new lenses . I look forward to seeing the example pictures. That 85/1.4 sounds very nice.
