Re: Challenge 10: Old MacDonald had a farm..ee..aa..oo!
Since the decision of making someone a moderator who insulted and used abusive language to my person, I decide never to be part of this forum in anyway.
His first moderation decision being deleting a post of mine that stated that this new development in the forum was also the one that finalized my my decision.
Not even able to face a fact of his own doing...
There is no point in staying around any longer.
Thanks to those who were of the better kind and goodbye for good.
To seeing you all at other places.
Yildiz

Oh no! Can you please rethink your decision? You've been a great contributor, writing nice articles in a pleasant, entertaining and often humerous way. I am sure I am not the only one thinking so.aster wrote:There is no point in staying around any longer.

After having been ridden, 18-year-old 'Enrico' enjoys wallowing in the warm sand on the paddock.

That's one horse that's having fun, Olaf!
And your cropping method is interesting, resembling the method you described in Javelin's thread.
Thank you for your contribution.

Here come the cowboys! Well not quite as they were herding horses.
Re: Challenge 10: Old MacDonald had a farm..ee..aa..oo!
Hi Ossie,
Very stylish horsemen, all the attire are appropriately intact! Nice patterned shirts and hats....
I like the spotless white of the horses. A special kind of breed no doubt.
Our farm thread is inreasingly turning into a horse farm with your contribution.
Thank you,
Yildiz

Great shot Ossie - I really enjoyed your views of the Camargue here and even the "problem" shot in the other thread. Really classic images. I'd love to see more of the horses.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Yildiz.
With the exception of the "boss" all the riders wore red patterned shrits. The patterns varied and I don't know if this was just tradition or badges of rank or status.
Birma.
I have yet to process most of the images I took in Provence but there are a few more on my Flickr site. I will send a separate post in "Give it your best shot" with the links. However for me posting to a forum is a little like trying to set-up the video recorder hopefully the links will work.

To try and even-up the balance of animals, here is a cow (it might be a bull but with those horns I wasn't going to check!) but it is certainly bovine. Our farm thread is inreasingly turning into a horse farm with your contribution.

Thanks for your comments. It was a great experience but keeping the camera dry with all that water splashing about was a problem. One of our group a N**on user (a top end model I believe) was unlucky and his camera stopped working. Never found out if it was terminal or not.........I'd love to see more of the horses....

Impressive cow and must say that that's a fine composition!
I'm glad you submitted a cow, not because we are anywhere near to being overwhelmed by horses but because that IS an interesting and relaxed one with a 'personality'.
And we're only happy to see the galloping horses...
Thanks.
