When I am in hot places like Texas and Thailand I often wish I was wearing something that allowed a nice puff of fresh air in the hotter areas. Of course, in Bangkok it is not all that unusual to see guys wearing mini-skirts -- I am sure it is just to keep cool.David Kilpatrick wrote:Scotland has plenty of fresh air!

Welcome back Yildiz, and thanks for starting a new challenge.
My favourite area for taking the air - sea front at Whitley Bay (this is a 2 image vertical pano to give the feeling of the big sky)
Best wishes

Thank you very much, you're very kind!
As we have all gotten used to by now, an excellent photo with a spectacular sky (cresent) and foreground from you.
Thanks,
Yildiz

That's one extraordinary Alpenglow Bakubo! Interesting colours...
Ossie;
It's great to see New Zealand's remarkable natural beauties through your lens and camera. Very lucky cyclists and such clear air!

Re: Challenge 12: "Enjoy The Fresh Air!"
This week-end, I sure had my share of fresh air! I kept running after horses and riders doing a hunting class, along with their foxhounds.

Ossie, I like your shot of Lake Wakitipu. It reminds me of my wife and my honeymoon back in 2007, when we spent a couple of weeks touring the south island in a hire car. During this time we did many things, including the dart river safari which finished at Glenorchy. It was awsome. This is a photo i took somewhere on the road between Wanaka and Queenstown (I think, can't exactly remember), but i do remember that the air was fresh, crisp and frigid.

We were lucky! We could enjoy this fresh air every day! Though not necessarily the same light and balmy weather. From our deck in San Rafael, California.
Yildiz, you might notice we'd gone digital.....
But in case you still like film... Loch Meiklie near Drumnadrochit. Use to go there every year.

Re: Challenge 12: "Enjoy The Fresh Air!"
I got up very early while it was still very dark on two mornings to try to catch that light. We were tent camping and I left my wife in the tent and had to drive about 20 minutes to this lake and then walk about another 20 minutes to the other side for this view. It was very dark so I had to use a flashlight. Unfortunately, the first morning the light wasn't interesting so the next day I tried it again and fortunately I was rewarded. Even the second day I thought it wasn't going to work out because once there was a just enough light in the sky where I could sort of make things out I could see that it was fairly overcast. Later though by the time of the good light the sky was clearer.
