Enjoy The Fresh Air!

Hello everybody and welcome to a new challenge! :D

I hope you're all doing great and enjoying a wonderful summer/winter at your part of the world.

This particular photo challenge will be all about your selection of moments and places where and when you wish to escape all the turmoil and demands of the daily polluted world and seek some harmony, quiet, bliss, and 'enjoy the fresh air!'.

The idea is not one of mine but came from a nice person who asked me to "Enjoy the fresh air!" after a situation which was in tangles and later was resolved! :D

I hope you enjoy yourselves and here are the specifications:

* Places, scenes, landscapes at a particular time of the day when you think is most refreshing for you.
* Last day for submissions: 10 September 2009.
* You may submit as many photos as you like.
* The size of images should comply with forum rules set by the admins.

Good luck everyone!

Yildiz

Yay! Yildiz is back! Talk about 'fresh air!'

Here's one from a Sunday morning in Fort Worth. As I come off the night shift I like to go out and see what other people are doing with that early hour before I go home and crash in my bed.

Hey Kevin! :D

Thank you! A fresh start and hopefully like the first rays of light that chronicle the dawning of a new day....which resets that fine-tuned clock in our brains! :D

I can only imagine how those cyclists feel as wind brushes their faces and limbs in the morning chill. Really refreshing...and they do say early-risers enjoy a longer and full day.

Lovely seeing you around the challenges... :D

That's a volcano if I ever saw one. Active? Dormant? Just waiting for a hint?

It's been so hot and humid the past couple of days that I would like to be standing where these people are under Niagara Falls.

Ah, the sweet scent of freshness in those photos! The soul almost lifts off of the ground soras high into the sky with each...

Freshness, thy name must be freedom! :D

With a sweet twist of odour in Bakubo's entry all are exceptional scenes. :) Thank you for the altered approach Henry..

This shot is by Colin Burn-Murdoch - our daughter's other half (been together ten years, own two and a bit properties, not married yet...)

I swapped out their Canon 400D kit for a Sony Alpha 350 kit and they love the colours - Colin shot this with the 16-105mm at 45mm, ISO 100. The quay is just below their flat balcony, so they can see the boats arrive, and for this North Sea oil support vessel launch the band of the Lothian and Borders Police had been hired to pipe on shore and on board. Colin caught the lads going up to the deck:

Scotland has plenty of fresh air!

I'll find one of my own soon.
