Special Challenge: "A Photo A Day for Lonnie" - Submissions

Unread post by aster »

Hello, :D

This challenge is a special challenge created only for Lonnie to submit photos in a period of 10 days to be taken on that significant day (preferably).

It will be a nice series and we'll have a chance to see how Lonnie's proposal for a new forum will work in reality.
No doubt it would be a colourful and interesting to watch. A 'one-man show', a 'Lonnie vs. Lonnie' challenge where Lonnie will also pick his best one out as his own judge... :D

Specifications:

* Lonnie will pick a date to start submitting photos for this challenge and continue for 10 days.
( Lonnie picked Tue Dec 08, 2009 8:55 pm to start his challenge )
* Lonnie will be the only one to submit to this challenge but comments and encouraging phrases are always welcome from other members.
* Lonnie will arrange a poll for the collective to judge his entries and decide on his best photo of the 10-day-submission period.
* Lonnie will grant himself a prize he thinks is suitable for him.
*
*
* If Lonnie doesn't like this challenge idea, the forum moderator will happily remove this challenge thread. :D But the moderator thinks that Lonnie has some photos that can make this challenge worth his while! :D Please ?

Looking forward to the photos....and good luck.

Ready, set, Go!!

Wow, talk about pressure!!! LOL.

I only want to add one twist Yildiz. Let's do a "reverse challenge". After the 10 days, let's make a poll and have the collective decide the best photo over the time period. My challenge will be to get a pic posted every day....

Edit: 1 more thing. The pic to be posted for a day, must be taken on that day, just to make it interesting....

Don't stop till you see the checkered flag at the end of the track! :D

All good. I edited my first post accordingly.

Go Lonnie, go! (wild cheering form the sidelines :D )
I like the first one, but prefer the similar one you posted in the challenge. Looking forward to seeing what prize you will award yourself.

My shooting today got cut short today (only shot 14 images) by having to go check on a friend in need. This was the best I could do.

Phew!

And I was wondering where you were... :D
I like your angel statue...especially the drop of ice that drips from between his genorous gesture of offering palms.

Looking forward to your next photo next adventure..

Love the shots so far, although the Doc has sort of put me off the water a bit   .

Nice brick wall Lonnie.

A good example of contemporary street art; vivid colours and interesting short love-bondage messages. I also like the ink-art-like facial portrait that's a mixture of Che Guevara and Christ.. :)

6 more to go and you'll be granted a day's freedom of taking photos for the forum and make a drink to your health! :D
