Time to put those newly-acquired fancy and most endeared macro lenses on your beloved cameras and take us on a joyous trip in your micro world and share what you found that we're missing in our own!

It's the year of the macro lens productions, so you have absolutely no excuse not to contribute! Feeling lazy in your comfort zone with your foamy espresso? Why not show us what those foam bubbles look like once your macro lens is directed on it under your reading lamp? It's that easy... : )

Challenge is open to all kinds of approaches, styles and creative thinking...

Specifications:

* Challenge #33 officially starts this moment and ends on 03 November 2010.
* The dimensios of the photos should not exceed 1024*1024 pix and must be under 250 kb.
* You're free to submit as many entries as you like.
* You're free to choose a style that suits best to convey your ultimate creation but without obscuring the reality of the subject.

A tiny starter from me...

I'm not sure but I think that small spider living in my balcony has built this silken ball that has some yellow egg-like things within.

A very intriguing "ball" Yildiz. Also an interesting pattern of light. I hope to contribute to this thread (and the Wind Blown one) but it will probably be a few days until I get some "camera time".

The pattern of light is due to the rusty, perforated iron sheet that the spider placed its 'ball' in. We actually see the light through the circular openings in the sheet, hence the pattern.

Looking forwaard to your entries! You have some nice macro lenses that yield exciting results with great bokeh!

My first thought was, wow, an electron trapped in an energy field but then I thought your lens is not that strong Anywy, I am not into macro, nothing really to share I am afraid.

You don't know that !! Maybe I have 'the one' under the Tamron macro lens disguise !

Both are wonderful and yes, I remember the second from a little while ago. : ) Good lens, is that 30 F/2.8.

The first one is most interesting with that silken look ... I wonder which creature is responsible for such a magnificent 'sculpture' ? A spider ?

Wow - doesn't the time creep around quickly. Just squeezing this one under the wire. This has been a big 'macro' year for me with more close-ups than ever before, and my first macro lens.

Here is a macro shot, which is also a bit abstract.

I was looking for something that had the colours of autumn, including the blue sky, and this rain drop close-up shot seemed to fit the bill. A700 with Tamron 60mm f/2.

Very warm and lovely colours. A beautiful semi-abstract, Birma!
