Re: NEW-Challenge #54:"Summer Flowers/Fields"-ends Aug 30
Yildiz, Andy,
Thank you.
Andy, it might be thistle and very likely it would be thistle.
I speculated it to be a cactus flower, since I have seen some
cacti around and the flower is atop a prickly "sphere". Since
my knowledge in this matter is virtually non-existent, I correlated.
With best regards,
Sury

Hi Ken,
Nice shots of interesting flowers....
The first photo doesn't show unfortunately. Link doesn't work? It reads "The image orvideo is currently unavailable" on a white background.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Good one, Sury.
The natural light works just fine with the very warm colours of the flowers here....

That's a different take on angles, Sury. : ) Tilted to the young girl's reacing up...
I liked the garden. Certainly very peaceful to walk through and get ones thoughts straight.. if not the photo frame.
Thanks for sharing.
This challenge has few more days for new contributions, so I hope we see more flowers coming in from all.
Thanks,
Yildiz

This meadow has been planted with some of the wild flowers that used to grow in corn/wheat fields. Poppies, Cornflowers, Corn Marigold, and Corn Chamomile. From the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall.

Brilliant shot, Andy.
What a brilliant idea to recooperate with the original wild flowers of the meadow.. : ) A very rich sampling.
Thanks for sharing.
