Bit early for snow, so here's an autumnal Leaf Angel.

Cogito wrote:Marcell, lovely shot that evokes the autumnal feeling. Are those ones edible?
It's honey fungus (Armillaria mellea) and it's edible but requires long preparation and some people may have slight stomach problem eating it.
We haven't collected those but other edible specimens.

Cheers

Cogito/Leaf Angel, looking very comfy on those leaves, looking up. : )

Marcell, a very nice find indeed. : ) Lovely mushrooms that indeed remind honey, nicely composed with a delightful light / shade ratio.

Great explosion of colors there Tony. Marcel, as always it is a pleasure to
see your contributions.

This is. believe it or not, in mid-December taken from the moving car
and hence the motion blur.

Yosemite in Winter.

Sury, Yosemite is so worth a visit at any time! Great colours, maybe re-post with the bottom cropped off?

Tony, Yildiz
Thank you and a great suggestion Tony. I replaced it with a cropped version as suggested.

Back to October 1980 again with my Minolta XM. In Algonquin with my uncle, I stopped to roll a ciggie and noticed I had one exposure left on the roll so I aimed at the bush beside me and finished the roll and reloaded the camera. Fujifilm ASA100 and I think I had an ancient Soligor zoom lens mounted, about 40-150 in focal length.. But this came out....

Our Autumn is half a year out of kilter with your idea. However, here is one taken in our garden in May 2013.

While I'm at it, here are another couple out of the archives - both taken in Germany during the northern hemisphere autumn/winter.

Cogito, lovely colours. : ) The photo is almost an abstract of fall colours for its blurry, out of focus part.

Dewarp, looks like Fall's 'fall'en nice and lovely there, the season's been doing its work as was due. Love the blazing orange colours and the details of the leaves also.

Thanks for sharing, : )

Hi,

Here's one after Birma/Andy saw a photo of mine in an other thread and suggested I submit one for the challenge. : )

Not really happy with the bokeh but I may not have the time to reshoot with an other lens attached, so here it is, the Autumn Fruits, an other vesion with more of the season's fruits.

Hi Marc, :)

Nicely within the season, Marc. The pumkins and the scary shadow tell just the right story of what is emerging; I suppose Halloween is to be a good one this year. The pumpkin harves looks healthy and nice..

Thanks for sharing, both images are lovely.
