I have been waiting for the leaves to turn and some reasonable weather to look for autumn colours. We still have not had any really cold weather, so despite the wind, rain and short days the leaves are still not at their best I think. Anyway, time is getting on and so here is one from my favourite beech wood this morning.

What a beautiful, ground to sky approach on trees that are gowned in their autumnal mood, Andy. : )
Moss and wet fallen leaves, all very nicely framed.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Re: Challenge #55:"Autumn Colours"- Voting In Progress
* POLL-PART 1 *

Hi everyone,
We are at the end of our Autumn Colours Challenge Road and need to proceed with the voting so we can find our winner/s. : ))
Next time we go for a challenge that covers Autumnal Colours, we should remember to allocate more time for the submissions by extending the deadline way into December, since it's pretty obvious that the Autumn season's only almost coming to life way into Winter in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere.
Please go to the linked pages above to vote for your favourite photos.
Thank you all for your contributions. : )
Good Luck.

Bit of a problem here.....
Yildiz, doesn't matter which browser I use when I try to vote - not for mine!! I get
"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.
Return to the topic last visited"
And I am logged it! Can you help?

Re: Challenge #55:"Autumn Colours"- Voting In Progress
Hi Cogito,
I'm sorry to hear that there happens to be a problem when you tried to cast your votes.
I tried for two 'randomly-selected' images in that list and the votes proved valid and went through without trouble.
I'll further check. If the problems persist, I'll notify David Kilpatrick who has more extensive permissions on the forum features.
For the moment, how about giving voting some rest and then later, maybe tomorrow, login afresh and try once again and let me know of your experience, successful or not.
I'll be expecting similar feedback from the rest of the members who will be voting please.
Let's see if it works for others, other than myself as well.
Thanks much for the feedback.
Yildiz

Re: Challenge #55:"Autumn Colours"- Winner: Birma/Andy
Congratulations to Birma aka Andy!
By getting 25% of the votes he is our winner for this challenge.
I'd like to congratulate all who participated though. If you asked me, I'd say all the photos are winners for their direct and indirect relation to Autumn and the Autumnal colours, all were very relevant and artisitically valuable.
See you all in an other challenge!
Any ideas come to mind? Then please do not hesitate to start a challenge of your own thinking. : )
Thanks all!

Wow - thanks to everyone who voted for my picture! There were a great selection of pictures for this challenge reflecting the autumn / fall colours from across the globe. I enjoyed looking at all of them.
Many thanks to Yildiz, of course, for her sterling efforts in running the challenge - bravo!

hip, hip for Andy.
Though I agree with Yildiz, that all shots are winners.
Well done all.

Always welcome, Birma but where is the new challenge someone,...anyone started?! I thought one would be sprouting already in such a prosperous month of sweet holidays with so many interesting ideas in development.Birma wrote:
