Hello everyone!
It's spring once again with patterns sprouting afresh wherever life can germinate and generate.
Our aim will be to find the patterns in nature as Spring lends itself to warmer Summer season. Macros shot showing flowers and plants generating Fibonacci spirals; Spring rain drops creating ripple patterns on ponds, lakes, puddles are all valid and a creative approach is always welcome.
The above mentioned examples can be richened with additional finds of your own as you go along; anything that brings out patterns of Spring counts.
Good luck! Looking forward to the entries...
Yildiz

A starter from me that depicts the Fibonacci sequence pattern on a cactus as the focus...

Thank you, Henry!
Kind of you. But if you say so, then it certainly must be... I appreciate your critical eye.

I'm not sure if these fit in with the theme, but here are few shots.

I see patterns.... The fresh fern leaves definitely create repeating patterns while the little creature in the first calls for an obituary though... : ) R.I.P.
Thanks for sharing Henry.

Yildiz, nice challenge. Question(s). Any restrictions on camera body. lens mount or date of capture?

Hi Cogito,Cogito wrote:Yildiz, nice challenge. Question(s). Any restrictions on camera body. lens mount or date of capture?
Thank you.
No, there are no restrictions except the necessity to find some type of pattern that occurs in the Spring. Experimenting with any camera body, lens mount and type (wide, macro, zoom..etc.), range or date of capture is welcome. Too much processing may be getting away from the purpose of the challenge like shooting IR but if the shooter finds some intriguing appeal to that also then that's also acceptable.
: ) Looking forward to your shots.

Hi everyone,
A giant, almost-40-day period has gone by...
The last call for those who wish to submit any photos to this challenge.
By the time of the deadline, if we have no other submissions, I'll unashamedly announce Henry/Bakubo and myself the unchallenged winners of this challenge.
