Adobe Camera Raw Sony NEX Issue

http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/ ... astmessage

I found this thread at another forum. I thought I'd pass it on. I don't own a NEX, so I can't comment on the issue. Perhaps, David or another member can comment on the problem.

It is caused by the angle of incidence to the sensor with lenses very close to the silicon (like the 15mm Voigtlander) creating incorrect RGGB values, due to a shadow being cast by the microlenses, and the filter array being effectively out of line with the pixels (parallax). It should not need any special correction except with lenses of this type used at smallish apertures.
