NEX flash system - wireless future?

I hope to see a better flash system for the NEX. Wireless with my Minolta 5600HS or equivalent Sony gear would have been absolutely wonderful.

Does anybody in this forum have any insight on Sony plans for flash system for the NEX?
I've seen the picture of the mockup of the 20 flash in Alphaworld. Looks a lot like the HVL-20 for a900/a850. I'm hoping for the same wireless control function. Would be technically possible, wouldn't it?

I'm new to this forum, but have been reading it a lot the past year. I would like to thank David Kilpatrick for being active in his own forum - with all his insights and know-how

Sincerely,

At photokina we were told the 20GN flashgun for NEX would not control wireless. Sorry to disappoint you. The camera has no function for wireless control.

That's a shame. Well, I guess the heavy DSLR machinery will still get to see a lot of action from my part, then.

I got first this slave: http://www.adorama.com/SUDSUWP.html

then I prefered to buy this falsh, that match in size the NEX5: http://www.adorama.com/MZ28CS2.html

Both solutions learn from your flash's pre-flash sequence and work quite well. I hope Sony will fix the lack of wireless flash soon...

Anybody notice that the NEX-VG10 has a Sony Alpha hotshoe on top? I wonder whether an f58am flash gun will control other Alpha flashes from that shoe...
