As you can see this is a very compact and fast arrangement

The following is an infinity snap shot for illustration purposes only. The second shows the detail of the house, Loseley House, one of the best examples of Elizabethan architecture in England and still a family home. They look an awful lot sharper at 1:1 in the original size (14M rather than 250K)

Hi Artington. That lens does look very neat on the Nex. Interesting shots.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Back to the M-Rokkor 40/2 here is a shot of a little red bug (1/200, f5.6) and a 100% magnification (no post camera sharpening on either)

Here is my Leica Elmarit M 90/2.8 mounted on the NEX-5. I'll do another posting with a couple of sample shots taken with this combo. These were taken with the A900 with the Minolta 17-35/3.5G at 35mm. I haven't bothered to touch them up. This is a very nicely weighted combination with an effective focal length of 135mm. The Elmarit M is as sharp as a tack and also very small and still a relatively affordable lens in the used market but no longer available new.

And here is a sample shot taken in my garden. One of the problems using a LCD for viewing is that you don't notice the sort of detail you might using a view finder, despite using the MF assist. I didn't realise there was a little butterfly until I popped the file on to Lightroom, otherwise I would have centred the focus on him.
