I have just been informed by Wex that my pre-ordered NEX-7 will be with me tomorrow. Which is a big surprise indeed as I assumed the UK would be a month or more behind the States. Clearly Sony really has got it skates on! Good for them.

Right early adopters, I very much look forward to hearing your opinions once you get a chance to test this little wonder. I am itching to get one myself, but have decided to wait until the spring or so in the hope that the UK price will fall from £995 body only to more like £845. This will be my final camera purchase for quite some time (so I say to myself) so I want to make sure that "this is it" for me. I imagine myself walking around with my NEX-5 & 16mm pancake in a holster on my belt and a small bag with NEX-7 fitted with 18-55mm, the 55-210 and wide angle converter also available and ready for action.
