I realise that I may be the only person in the world who wants one, but has anyone come across a solution to put a three-way spirit level on a Nex 3 or 5 (i.e. the Nex without a standard flash adapter)?

Thank you very much Pako. My heart rose when I saw the first picture, and then sank again when I saw the price . The second suggesiton looks like a possibility though.

Thanks Pako. I was about to purchase one immediately until I saw the price. I have been thinking about making my own.

Their L-bracket tripod mount is rather neat, but it costs $115.

After continued research I could not find a solution that was as neat as JTec's attachment. So I bit the bullet, as they say, and ordered one. Here it is with the spirit level, and also fitted on its own. The second picture shows the two small screws that allow you to adjust the fitting to accommodate different attachments. You need a screw driver to fit it, but one is included in my standard camera bag so no big change. It is a very well made item and fits well. It is perhaps expensive, but it falls just below the level which attracts UK import duty. I felt that other solutions, in the end, would be too "Heath Robinson" . The same spirit level is available with a Sony mount. I got one one e-Bay last year but I haven't the link.
