ASFERICO PHOTO CONTEST 2013 - highlighted with Sony NEX-7

Hello to all the friends.
I am a landscape photographer, working mainly in Sardinia, Italy. From the beginning, I have always make use of Minolta gears and when I switched from film to digital I chose Sony A900. From march 2012 I'm shooting with the beautiful Sony NEX-7 and Sony E 18-55 OSS, an excellent camera to carry with me on rough trekkings.
Now I am happy to announce that I am a finalist in one of the most prestigious nature photography competitions in Europe, the ASFERICO PHOTO CONTEST 2013. Of my fifteen photographs I have sent, one has been selected and highlighted in the category Plants and Fungi. This photograph was taken with Sony NEX-7 and the plain Sony E 18-55 OSS, zoomed at 30mm about, ISO 400 and 1/100" at f/16, handheld under a light rain. The kit zoom isn't the best lens around, but stopped down f/8 to f/16 isn't bad at all. The picture is very crisp and sharp!
I'm proud!
