Adapted lenses - A Jupiter 8 (50mm Russian Sonnar f:2.0)

Unread post by UrsaMajor »

On Saturday I put an old Russian Jupiter 8 range-finder lens on a Leica Thread Mount adapter, installed it on my NEX-6, and went for a walk in Central Park.

In addition to some shots of a local amateur theatrical group rehearsing a performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for the Shakespeare In The Park series that is done there each summer on the outdoor stage, I acquired the following images.

Very little PP other than some cropping to the subject in the first two images, and bumping up the strong shadows created by the trees in the first image.
