mic suggestions

I'd like to get a mic for my a77ii. I'm completely unfamiliar with add on mics. I don't understand all the lingo and technology either. Any suggestions on a good starter mic. I want to get rid of the focusing and handling sounds that the internal mic picks up. I would also like to be able to easily control wind noise. A large portion of what I video are informal interviews and outdoor group activities.

Have a look at the Rode videomic range. Also Rycote suspensions and wind suppression, as you are in the USA I have no idea what suppliers you could call for advice, B&H come up a lot in searches.

Thanks harvey and pakodominguez. My budget is not very high. I'm hoping for under $100. I haven't done a lot of video with my a77ii, but the biggest issue I've had so far is the built-in mic picking up the af movement. It's actually quite distracting. I looked at the rode videomic go. It's around $85. Stereo recording is not necessary, but I'm not against buying one if it's the best option.
