Adobe Camera Raw 4.6, 5.0, and Sony A900

An important information for A900 users who plan to upgrade to Photoshop CS4 these days: ACR 5.0 does not support the A900! With regard to the cameras supported, ACR 5.0 is where ACR 4.5 used to be ... due to deadline limits around the CS4 roll-out. ACR 5.1 will support the same cameras as ACR 4.6 does (including the A900) and will be released in one or two weeks from now.

So don't be surprised if right after upgrading to CS4, the A900 won't be supported anymore! Either go the DNG route using DNG Converter 4.6, or just wait for ACR 5.1 which is due very soon.
