Has anyone compared an original ARW processed in Photoshop with a converted DNG file.

I have CS2 and can't process the ARW file directly with PS.
I convert to DNG then process with PS.

Is there any difference to the image quality?

No.

The only thing you lose when converting to DNG is the ability to use Sony IDC as your raw converter. But of course no-one forces you to delete the original ARW files after creating the DNGs ...
