How to remove EXIF data from a file

Using CS2 how do you (or can you) remove the EXIF data from a file to be posted on a forum.
I've noticed a lot of people do it.

I suspect that most people do not do it consciously. They either use something like PS 'save for web' which seems like a sensible option with this side-effect, or the host site that they use to publish their images strips it out.
