DXO Optics update including 85mm f2.8

New update to DXO Optics to version 6.6 / Film Pack 3

Not really a full update but bigger than their normal near monthly patches

Headline items include
more noise control features for JPEGS meaning unsupported camera bodies also benefit
more colour control features for b&w conversions
a few more films in the filmpack
Support for 85mm f2.8 lens on Some sony bodies including the a55.

Users who bought in the last year get the update to the main program free, film pack upgrade to exisiting users of v2 is 29 pound but has a try before you buy feature

However, the full software and filmpack are on offer again to mark the occasion - both for 89 gbp which I think is pretty good (normally 130+). I can thoroughly recommend DXO so long as your camera body is supported for RAW conversion - its really easy to use and gets great results. Having a supported Body / lens combination is not essential but makes it even better.
