That's a great way to enjoy the camera and still keep the money in your wallet. It reminds me of Jimmy Carter (president of U.S. 1977-1981) who gave an interview to Playboy magazine while he was president. In it he admitted:

I've looked on many women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times. God knows I will do this and forgives me.

He avoids the whole STD thing and paternity lawsuit risk that way.

Seriously though, will you get one? Probably worth waiting a bit until the new firmware is out to see if it really fixes things. I guess there is a chance that in addition to bug fixes it might tweak some features, give some things people have complained about, etc. I hope so.

I cannot buy it immediately, as it will probably be available here at the end of next year
So, I have to find someone coming to Armenia and ask him to bring along (and that should be either from the States or the Emirates, due to huge difference in prices).
I don't care for the warranty, as it wont work here.
So one way or another I have to wait... sadly (or fortunately).
As for EVF, years ago I said never, but now with ageing eyesight I notice it's much better for me... (morale: never say never )

Yes, that is one of the things I liked a lot about the EVF in my old Minolta D7i. I almost never used the rear LCD on it. I reviewed images using the EVF since there was no issue of ambient light causing problems and with the diopter adjustment I could see it very clearly. I also loved that the EVF tilted. Since I use my left eye to look through the VF I found that a slight tilt up was very comfortable. The tilting also made shots where I was pointing up at a high angle very easy. The other thing I really liked was being able to zoom in the view and that made accurate MF very easy.

The dynamic range was a real problem though and when I checked the A33 a few months ago I saw that it was still a problem. Another problem is delays in the EVF coming on sometimes. With the D7i that wasn't as much of a problem as it is in higher level cameras since the D7i was overall not a fast camera (slow AF, for example). Something else I have noticed with EVFs is that since the brightness of the view is based on what the exposure system measures there can be sudden and dramatic changes in brightness with small movements of the camera when the scene has bright and dark parts. One moment you can see the bright parts of the scene and other parts are darker or even black and then a slight movement and suddenly the bright parts are totally blown out and now the darker parts have brightened up. Another slight movement and the reverse. Of course, what is happening is that the exposure also makes sudden changes depending on the exact makeup of the scene coming through the lens.
