Quick trip to the Melbourne Zoo, Australia

Hi All

Stop over visit at the Melbourne on the way to visit family that live close by, had the kids in tow, so not many photos, here are a few

This shot cleaned up OK, there was a thick sheet of glass b/w camera and grasshooper, all the shot are from camera jpg's pp with paint.NET
Paint.NET is not bad for quick touch ups.

A nice visit to the zoo, great idea, must do it again myself soon. I really like that pic of the Pied Heron, they had a couple of those locally and one was a little "strange"...I happened to be there at feeding time and this particular one would grab a fish out of a plate and take it over to the water and dump it in...and then proceed to "catch" it and eat it...hmmm :lol:

First thing I do in Spring is to take my camera to the zoo. I don't know exactly, is it from the love of animals or getting rotten in winter that I do that.
But one thing is sure that it's lot of fun and relaxing at the zoo.
